Free for the first year
If you’re starting something up and a website would make a real difference to you, but the money genuinely isn’t there — please ask anyway.
Send me an email and tell me your story — what you’re doing, and why a website would help.
The build costs you nothing. You cover your own domain name, about £15 a year at cost, and that’s the lot for the first twelve months.
Then you grow into it, only if it works. Year one costs nothing. Once the business is genuinely earning, you pick up aftercare at the half-price rate, £10 a month. After two years, if the site is doing well for you, that moves to the standard £20. If it never takes off, nothing ever changes.
I can’t do this for everyone — there’s only me, and the paying work is what makes any of it possible. But I read every one that comes in.

Sometimes a site has to actually do something rather than just sit there.
Bookings and availability, member logins, interactive maps and stall plans, stock lists, dashboards. If you’re doing a job on paper twice a week, it can usually be a screen instead.
Priced properly once we’ve talked it through, because no two of these are the same.
£895 and up
Optional aftercare on these is £25 a month, which covers the moving parts as well as the usual hosting and edits.
Talk it throughPaying monthly, and aftercare — two different things
Paying monthly spreads the cost of building the site over twelve months instead of paying for it in one go. At the end of the twelve months the site is yours outright. No exit fee, ever.
Aftercare is the optional bit that comes after. Hosting, backups, security updates and your small edits, handled for you so you never have to think about it. Cancel whenever you like — you keep the site either way.
Starting out has no aftercare plan on purpose. It’s one page that rarely changes, so paying every month for it would be daft. When you do want something altered, you pay for that edit and nothing else.
Every build includes: a mobile-first build, your own domain set up, SSL, two rounds of changes, and me sitting down with you to show how to update the bits you’ll want to change yourself.

Questions people ask
Do I own my website?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name and the files are yours. If you paid monthly, that applies once the twelve months are up.
What if I want to move it somewhere else?
I'll hand over the files and the domain and help you point it at whoever you're moving to. No charge and no fuss.
How long does it take?
A one-page site is usually about a week. A five-page site is two to three weeks. Bigger builds depend on what they have to do — I'll tell you before we start.
Do you write the words as well?
I do. You tell me about the business, I write a first draft, you tell me what's wrong with it. Most people find that easier than staring at a blank page.
What if I need changes later?
Small things like a price change, new opening hours or a fresh photo are covered by aftercare, if you're on it. Anything bigger gets quoted first so there are no surprises. If you're not on aftercare you just pay for the edit itself.
Is there a contract?
For one-off work, no — you pay half up front and half when it goes live. The monthly option has a twelve month term, written in plain English on one page.
